MAGNETIK NORTH

If you’ve ever played a musical instrument, you’ll know it helps to hear what you’re doing. MAGNETIK NORTH use a different approach. Sounds and performances are recorded in real-time with an array of ultra-fast processors (time-stretch, delay, pitch-shift, loops, auto-tune etc) and then sent back to the player’s headphones so what they hear isn’t always what they’re playing.

Two tracks are finished. "Sergio" and "Jose’s Yard" which are a tribute to the great spaghetti westerns of Sergio Leone. Currently they’re working at The Toolshed in East London and watching more inspirational classics from the monument valley.
